Robert Griffin III and wife Grete are keeping things fun and flirty on Instagram.
In honor of “Woman Crush Wednesday” this week, the free-agent quarterback posted a photo of Grete, who is also a fitness trainer.
“It’s her inner beauty for me #wcw,” Griffin wrote Wednesday alongside a photo of Grete in a revealing pink top.
As the comments — and “fire” animations — flooded Griffin’s page, so did an emoji-filled response from Grete.
“It’s YOU for me❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Grete wrote to Griffin, who replied with a collection of heart-eyed and kissing face emojis.
Griffin, a former first-round pick and Heisman Trophy winner, married Grete in March 2018. The couple shares two daughters, Gloria, 4, and Gameya, 2. Griffin also has another daughter, Reese, from a previous relationship.
In June, however, the quarterback-turned-ESPNer caused something of a stir on Twitter after posting a video of Grete doing squats alongside the caption, “cOmE oN bRO yOUr WiFe iS wHiTE.”
Griffin then addressed his comment in a series of replies to those who asked about the context of the post.
“Being white don’t mean you ain’t got no cheeks. Joke was my wife couldn’t fill out a sundress. And yes I love my wife and I’m proud of her business,” Griffin wrote in a tweet at the time.
In separate posts, Griffin said he was defending his wife and suggested the messages were meant to compliment her.
